Everything changed when the New Covenant began. And everything will change for you, when you come to understand all that means for you. This coaching experience will help you reshape your theology of the Third Person of the Trinity, and give you practical ways to experience His power and leading in everyday life. Our unique process is based on Daniel Henderson’s book, Transforming Presence: How The Holy Spirit Changes Everything From The Inside Out, and unpacks how to truly understand the Spirit’s role in your life based on the New Testament’s teaching.
This 30-day course will cover four vital issues:
- Seeing the Work of the Spirit Through a New Covenant Lens
- Understanding How The Holy Spirit Works In and Through Believers
- Capturing the Spirit of the Spiritual Disciplines
- Daily Practices for a Spirit-Filled Life
This course is part of the Discipleship by Design pathway.
The main source-material used in this coaching is from a book entitled Transforming Presence, which is part of The 6:3 Discipleship Guidepost Series, and is included as a part of this course.
Your Coaches
Justin Jeppesen
Before coming to The 6:3 Discipleship, a ministry of Strategic Renewal, Justin served as a pastor and professor at the University of Northwestern in St. Paul, MN. He led hundreds of young adults along with other staff in the rhythms of prayer and the ministry of the word. Before serving in his role at Northwestern, Justin spent 10 years in pastoral ministry at a local church where he was first introduced to Strategic Renewal. Justin and his wife, Maddy, have been married since 2010, and have three kids. They live in St. Paul, MN.
Wilton DeGraffe
Wilton DeGraffe is a full-time pastor in Queens Village, NY. He is the Senior Pastor at Grace Gospel Tabernacle and devotes one day a week as a Regional Director for The 6:4 Fellowship. Wilton and Clarelle have been married for 23 years and they have one son, Joshua. The DeGraffe’s planted Grace Gospel out of The Brooklyn Tabernacle.
Marco David
Pastor Marco David came to know Jesus as His Redeemer and Lord at the age of seventeen after a zealous evangelist knocked on his brother’s apartment door and came in for a visit. For 20 years he served the city of Chicago in various roles in the correctional system and the police force. Ordained in 2000, he began to serve the Church in a part-time capacity until he retired from the police force in 2015 to become the lead Pastor of Midwest Bible Church. His passion is to make disciples that spread the fame of Jesus as he prayerfully relies on the enabling power of the Holy Spirit. Marco married his high school sweetheart Elizabeth and they have four sons that are all in law enforcement.
Logistics
Your coaching group will meet, 4 consecutive weeks, online via our ZOOM Meetings platform. Groups are limited to 8 or less participants to maximize group discussion as well as maintain a personal and interactive environment. All sessions will be recorded and available to you for later viewing.
