Dr. Shawn Brewer has been the Pastor of First Baptist Church Paradise Texas since January 2021. He has been in ministry since 1984, and has Pastored four different churches in Texas, during that time. He has been a member of The 6:4 Fellowship since 2016, and is now the Regional Director of the Central Southwest Region. He has been married to Lauri, since 1988, and they have three adult children and four grandkids!

I thank the Lord for bringing the ministry of Strategic Renewal into my life quite by “coincidence”. We were hosting another prayer ministry in our church at the time and the leaders suggested a book: “Transforming Prayer” by Daniel Henderson (founder and president of Strategic Renewal). I read the book and a journey was started. Little did I know, that in just 4 short years, our lives would change due to a health crisis in our family. My ministry was abruptly stopped, with no job, no prospects, and great discouragement, during this time the ministry and teaching of Strategic Renewal’s Scripture-fed Spirit-led Worship-based prayer became the anchor that moved us forward to where we are today. The nature of the network, based on true genuine relationships, founded on prayer, is a singularly focused ministry that can equip any pastor/lay person, in any size or “stripe” of fellowship/church, to be empowered for ministry.
